Would I have any problems running XP Pro (32) on a new 64-bit mobo?

I am building a system for my daughter to take to college. Given the apps
she uses, I believe that XP x64 is probibly not for her (she is not starting
off as an Engineering major). To make the system more flexible, I was
thinking of going with and AMD Athlon64 3200 CPU, one of the NVidea mobos, a
new SATA drive, etc.

Will XP Pro (32) run on this OK? I am trying to get back up to speed... but
am very busy at the moment.

Thanks,

Hi,

Sure, I run an installation of both x86 (32-bit) and x64 on my 64 bit
hardware.

Why? I use sata drives (4 in a RAID 1+0 configuration) and they run fine
with both 32 and 64 bit versions.

The SATA HD may be a problem.
