Worsheet tabs missing

My worksheet tabs are gone. The worksheets are still there. I can get to
them by pressing CTRL+page up or page down. I cannot rename them sheets or
change the tab color because they do not appear.

This only works with one file - I can see tabs on other files. I didn't do
anything that I'm aware of that caused them to disappear.

Any ideas? Thanks

Go to tools, then options, then select the "view" tab and click the "sheet
tabs" option.

Is the worksheet window just not in the right place?

Window|arrange|tiled
and resize manually

The worksheet tabs and horizontal scroll bar share the same horizontal space. There's a
slideable divider, just to the left of the horizontal scroll bar, that may have gotten
moved all the way to the left, in which case you'll see only the horizontal scroll bar all
the way across, and no worksheet tabs. Maybe that's it. Drag it back to the right.

I had the same problem, and I had the split screen option on AND had the
slide bar all the way to the right.
