Worm..W32/Nachia.A

We have been informed by our anti-virus software that we
have a virus i.e W32/Nachia.A in file...
C:\DEVICE\HARDDISK VOLUME\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
\WINS\\DLLHOST.EXE and have been told to delete this file.
Windows XP home edition will not allow this.
We have tried to download the Windows patch but the worm
keeps returning periodically.
Can anybody help? Thanks.
