I have a client who is using an xp workstation as a server (as they are
having problems with their sw) and I want to find documentation to make
their tech understand that it's not made for this nor capable. Does anyone
know where I could get something??? TIA

Just tell them:

XP is NOT a server platform.
It does not use memory the way Server does.
It has a 10 connection limit
It does not offer centralized user account managment
It cannot have more than 1 website in IIS
It does not support as much memory
It does not support as many processors
and it is not able to provide essential network services like DNS, WINS,
DHCP, Routing, eMail (as far as MS solutions are concerned)
It does not support the same disk management and configuration options
It does not provide for the same level of remote administration

If you need more reasons, let us know.
