Worksheet page numbering

Curtis

I have a workbook with 30+ worksheets and am hoping there is an easy way to
have the page numbers automatically print in order based on the number of
sheets. currently each sheet prints as page 1

thanks

In xl2003 menus:
File|Print
On that dialog, there's an option for what to print.
Choose entire workbook.

If there are sheets you want skipped, you can group the sheets first (click on
the first tab and ctrl-click on subsequent) and then print.

(Use print preview to verify this first--save a few trees!)

If you've grouped the sheets, then ungroup them when you're done.
rightclick on any of the grouped sheets and select Ungroup sheets.

Grouping sheets means that almost any change you make to a sheet in that group
will be made to the others in the group. Very nice for lots of stuff--but
dangerous if you don't notice it and start changing things!

To print consecutive page numbers simply select "Entire Workbook".

If you want to print only some sheets with consecutive numbers CTRL + Click
on each sheet you want to print then select "Active Sheet(s)"
