Your old Works should function properly on XP. Check the MS website just in
case you need any updates to Works.

I believe that MS Works on and before 2000 will not work properly, if at
all, in Windows XP.

I'm using Works 4.5 upgraded to 4.5a on my XP installation. It works fine
(no pun intended!).
