I'm not 100% sure if this is the right place to post this, but I
recently reimaged my computer with Windows XP. I am going to install
either Microsoft Works 8 or Microsoft Works 9. I have copies of both
of them, but I want to ask your opinions on which is better. I will
proably use the word processor, spreadsheet, and calendar program.

Tanks in advance for any advice.

So which version did YOU like before the reimaging?

Since this is not a Windows issue, you may want to repost to this group:

I don't use Works myself, and know nothing about the differences
between the two, but I would normally expect a later version of almost
any piece of software to be superior to an earlier one. But why not
install both, if you have both (you may have to install one, then
uninstall it before installing the other; I don't know if both can be
installed at once), try them and see which *you* like best.

However, this is really not the appropriate place for such a question,
since it has nothing to do with Windows XP. If you ask in a Works
newsgroup, where the Works experts hang out, you would be more likely
to get the help you need.
