My works calender "froze" back in April, and I can't get rid of the error
message from Microsoft that shows up every time I turn on the computer,
saying that there is a problem and error report has been sent. How can I get
rid of this annoying problem? Works was pre installed on my computer when I
bought it, and I don't have a disk that I can use to re-install it. Any ideas
would be greatly appreciated.

Sure. Ask in a group with WORKS in the tile. Notice this group lacks
that.

I'm so glad it worked!
Your welcome, and thank you for letting me know.

Ignore the resident ****wit.

A general question is welcome in general newsgroup. As works is often
supplied with most bought systems, it is not unreasonable for the poster to
assume that it is part of the Windows package.
