Works 4.5 product code

I upgraded to XP home, love it..but in trying to compose
and share documents in the Works edition I have, NO one
can open the files or the CDs I've tried to send. I
saved my old pokie Works 4.5 from my old system (didn't
realize I even had it) but lost the product code. I
called tech support (ha) and was told the program is
obsolute. I don't care, I'm not that fancy with my work,
just need something that DOES work. Question: could
someone please have pitty on an old grandmother and share
their code or direct me to a site that would have it?
I've tried reformatting the Works XP documents to no
avail, all I can get it to do is open a notepad, which is
pretty useless for my documents. Any help is greatly
appreciated.
