I'd like to config a small network at home. It has a laptop, desktop.
Everything wireless.

I had checked and my desktop can see the laptop and the desktop, but the the
laptop can just see itself. Other problem ... it is impossible to acess the
laptop from the desktop - I got a "denied acess" msg.

Can anybody help me?

Tks,
Marcelo

Asymmetrical visibility, and "... access denied ..." probably indicates a
personal firewall problem.

Also look at the restrictanonymous setting.

You could look at logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config
server", and "net config workstation", from each computer, and maybe diagnose
the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions
precisely (download browstat!):
