Hi everyone,

I have a Windows 2000 system and I am sharing cable modem with my father
thru a wireless router. Cable modem and the wireless router are both
connected to my fathers computer which is Win 98 SE. I am able to connect
to the internet with no problem but I would also like to share his printer
so under Network Neighborhood in my computer I became a member of his
workgroup but I am still unable to see his printer or anything else for that
matter.

His computer does not see my computer under its workgroup. Please help.

assuming you can ping his computer by ip, can you ping it by name? if not, you have name resolution issue. Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP. or you may map his printer use ip instead of the name. for more information, visit http://www.ChicagoTech.net

Don't send e-mail or reply to me except you need consulting services. Posting on MS newsgroup will benefit all readers and you may get more help.
