Workgroup file

I created a less than perfect database a few years ago... it works well for
its purpose.
At the time I thought I needed to be fancy with a user level security
password... and it was handy... but it has now become a HUGE pain in the
butt...
Every single time I want to use access, or anyone else who needed the
origional database wants to use access, they have to sign in using the users
and passwords that I had set.

Is there any simple way to either restore the origional workgroup /
permissions on the database so that no passwords are needed? Or better yet,
set the passwords so that ONLY that origional database uses the passwords etc?

I have searched, and found some similar questions.. but have not yet been
able to solve this issue.

Thanks

Login as a user with administrator authority. Grant the default group
"Users" full permissions to all objects.

That's all you need if you just want to open the file with other
Workgroups that don't require a login. To remove all remnants of
security do the above and then create a new blank file and import all of
the objects from your file into it. The resulting file will be identical
to one that never had security applied.
