Workgoup file... can't find

Whenever I try to create a database, Access tells me that I don't have the
correct workgroup file. When I go to change or create a new one, it points
to a file that no longer exists. I cannot find where Access is installed
currently, for some reason it doesn't appear. How do I change where the
workgroup administration file is located (the mdw)?
