words underlined in IE6

I have also noticed that the word "work" is underlined
and when I actually clicked on it, it sent me to Monster
Jobs.com. Can this be caused by a virus or a hacker?
Could this be the issue that is causing words to be
underlined? I thought it was random but I am not so sure
anymore.

This *could* be because of a well known adware/spyware component called
eZula Top Text which underlines keywords with links to other sites
This could have been installed with kazaa or something similar

Download Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com

or

Download Spybot search and destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org

After Download and install, use the the Update feature to update the latest
"definitions" for adware and spyware then run the scan. Note that some
programs might not work if their spyware and/or adware is removed but there
is a backup option in the settings which is turned on by default
Dont run both at the same time.

Good luck
