words/letters not crisp

I'm using Windows XP. The words/letters are not crisp. I cannot figure out
how to correct the problem. Can someone help? Thanks in advance!

Maybe it's time for a new monitor?

If you have an LCD monitor, be sure it's operating at its native resolution.

Also cleaning a monitor does amazing things.

ClearType technology may help - especially if the monitor is a flat-panel LCD.

It can be enabled either on-line, or by downloading the Control Panel
applet, and using its wizard. There is a link to that on this page...
