Words Headers and Footers

I am trying to use the headers footers but the header footer pane does not
show up. Anyone know how to turn it on?

I am using Word 2000.

Hit View-->Header and Footer. If the header/footer toolbar doesn't show up,
you may still need to hit View-->Header and footer first, and THEN go to
View-->Toolbars, and choose it there. If it's not there, you may need to
troubleshoot Word:
