You're going to have to do a SaveAs and save the file to the harddrive. You
then start up WordPad and using the File/Open, select the file type to
open.

Can you explain the problem in more detail?

If the documents are from Word (Office), Works probably cannot handle them.
Here's a Viewer for Word 2003.

I don't see the viewer. Did you mean of of these?
