Send E-Mail option not available

The file Send E-Mail option is not present from the Office Button in Excel,
is not available from the Office Button in Word, and is present and
functional from the Office Button in PowerPoint.
I use Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, Windows Mail and the MS-Office
Home & Student 2007 suite.

Office probably won't link to anything but Outlook, but go to Start |
Default Programs and make sure Windows Mail has all three defaults.

I tried Set Your Default Programs in Vista and after selecting Windows Mail
I clicked on Set This Program As Default. Vista indicated: This program has
all its defaults. Unfortunately, the problem remains: only PowerPoint has the
Mail option under Send To.
Any other advice?

It really is time that MS stopped these 3rd party forums from linking to the
MS communities newsgroups.

Such as:
User-Agent: vBulletin USENET gateway

They never include the original text to the reply.

vista heads
sevenforums
vistax64 etc

are really causing problems.
