WordPad is opening in lieu of Adobe Reader

Hi,

I have statements tagged with the Adobe icon. I click on statement and
wordpad opens up statement giving me gibberish.

How do I correct this problem.

Please outline steps.

I assume you mean files when you say statements.

*Right*-click one of them, select Open With. Ignore the pdf reader
(probably Acrobat) even if it is there; instead, click on Choose Program
(bottom of list). _Now_ select Acrobat (or whatever) - using Browse if
it isn't in the list. Make sure "Always use the selected program to open
this kind of file" is ticked. OK.
