WordPad as a template

Hi
I would like to use " WordPad" as a 'template' when I right click on
the desk top and select 'new'. Currently I can use Note pad, MS Word
, Excel, and several other options to start a new file. However
when I try to add "WordPad" using 'Tweak UI' I get a message saying I
cant use "WordPad" as a template. Is there any way to add a temp for
use in this feature?

Try this: Assign Wordpad as the default program for .rtf files. Now add
Wordpad as a template.
