You can still buy it online. I would suggest getting XP or 2003 through.
If you already own it use your CD to install it. Then download and install
the Service Releases.
You can find sources on-line that sell it. Almost certainly you
can find it on eBay.
By the way, it's highly unlikely that you *need* that version
specifically. Any later version will also be able to read and
modify files created with Word 97.
