word97 & word2000 openind a doc in the right version

I installed word 97 and word 2002 on the same machine on different folder,
this is what I try to do

word97 will open when I double click a .doc created in word97
word2002 will open when I double click a .doc created in word2002

I went to properties (general tab) and wanted to choose the right version
(type of file and open with)but appear that when
I browse to word97 it gives the same type file format for both (Microsoft
word document) to be sent to 2002

The only way this will work is if you start Word before opening documents.
Otherwise (if you try to open documents from Windows Explorer or the Start
menu), the version of Word most recently used will have grabbed the file
association.
