WORD2003: where's the vert. scrollbar PAGE# pop-up?

I am using Office 2003. In a multiple page document in WORD 2003, I am
unable to enable the "old" pop-up page number box associated with the
vertical scroll bar, which quickly allowed me to see the current, working
page.
