Every time I try to open something in word, it comes up
not available. I don't know if I registered the software
or if it was already done. I bought a VAIo about 1 1/2
years ago with the XP edition. I need to create a
schedule for a construction project. Thanks

From the information provided, I'm not sure if you ever had Word
running on this machine or not. If not .. it's likely it needs to be
installed. Use your existing install CD's for Microsoft Office or Word
(depending on what you have). If you don't have, then you need to buy
it. Office and/or Word is not an integral part of the XP operating system.
