I have Windows XP and Word 2003.

I am having problems with the Word 2003 changing my formatting. For
instance, when I select one line to change the font size it changes the whole
document instead of just one line or one word. Is something formatted that
makes it do this?
 
Thank you for your help. I did go into the format and uncheck the "Automatic
Update" and it fixed the problem.
