I need to get a word update as im having problems with the one i have. I get
an error message word not responding then it redirects me to windows update
where there is an update i could get. Only problem is it takes 223 mins to
download and my internet connection auto disconnects after 2 hours how can i
stop this from happening?

What you appear to be trying to download, whilst not specifically written in
your post, is the Office SP1 update.

Look for this on a Magazine Cover CD and get that magazine.

Or else call your local Mirosoft Office and see if they can post one to you.
