Greetings,
We are experiencing some Microsoft Word XP
difficulties. Sometimes when a Word document is open, a
user will switch between the document to another
application. Upon switching BACK to the Word document,
the text on the document be-it a paragraph or two or
three, it will turn into a bunch of square boxes and
something like Wing Dings. This problem has also occured
when a user has been scrolling through the Word document.
We have tried to convert it back to regular or readable
font, but with no success. Initially, I thought it was a
variation of the Klez virus, but we have scanned for that
with the Symantec tool also with no success. Is there
another virus or worm that could be causing these
documents to change suddenly?
Thanks for any help,
Brent
