What Beth meant to say was, "you should *not* work with Word documents
stored directly on a floppy or any other type of removable media, including
USB drives."

You need to click the button "Edit in Word" in order to make editing changes.
Also, a note of caution, you should work with Word documents stored
directly on a floppy or any other type of removable media, including USB
drives.
This is one of the leading causes of document corruption and trust me, you
don't want to find this out the hard way.
I recently starting 'trusting' a USB drive (since in my preliminary tests
I didn't encounter and problems) and ended up with corrupt document. Of
course it was an important document which is typically the case when 'things
go wrong'. :-(
Instead you should save it to your local drive and copy it to the floppy
*after* the document is closed.

Word Viewer. Word Viewer does not let me edit the doc, only view. I am
trying to type text on this document and open it in regular Word program so
that I can edit it there and save it to floppy. I try select all, or copy,
and still nothing. Any ideas? Getting frustrated. Thanks.
