I want to find out how to get rid of Word Viewer. I do not have have Word,
financial reasons, and I cannot edit any of the documents that I had saved.
Once I installed word viewer most of my doc's were automatically changed.

I'm confused. If you don't have Word, how will you even view Word docs
without the Viewer? I would guess that if it was installed, you should be
able to uninstall it through Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.

Possibly you're talking about a trial version? That should also have an
uninstall option.

FWIW, if you want to get Word very reasonably, you can get Word 2002 (along
with several other useful programs) as part of Works Suite for under $100.

Installing Word Viewer doesn't change any documents. It might have changed
the file extension association in Windows Explorer -- in which case, open
Explorer and change it back.

If you don't have Word you can't edit Word documents anyway.
