Word Vierwer 2003 - hide

Dear All

Is it possible to hide "Open for Editing" within the Word Viewer 2003? I
believe this appears as I have Word 2003 installed, but I want to set some
documents up to open with the Viewer and not have people the cahnce to edit
them.

You cannot force users to use the viewer to open your documents if they have
other applications capable of opening Word documents available. If you want
to encourage people to view your documents you should consider supplying
them in PDF format (for which you will need extra software) which makes
editing rather more difficult (though not impossible). *Any* document you
allow someone to see can ultimately be edited.
