My Moms office has multiple complaints of the following scenario. It seems
that in MS Word, that is a period is missing or duplicated at the end of a
sentence, when the sentence at the the end of a paragraph, it does not seem
to be able to see this and skips right over the error. I should have the
Version, which of ciurse would be helpful, but she came home without it. I
would think this woould be a large enough Bug that a knowlegable Word User or
Msft CS Rep would know of it. So let us see. TYVM

Probably because someone, insead of Correct or Ignore added the original
problem i.e. two periods to the custom dictionary to get rid of it you need
to edit the custom dictionary.
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling & Grammar tab.
Click Custom Dictionaries.
Select the dictionary you want to edit. Make sure you do not clear its check
box.
Click Modify.
Do one of the following:
To add a word, type it in the Word box, and then click Add.
To delete a word, select it in the Dictionary box, and then click Delete.
To edit a word, delete it, and then add it with the spelling you want.
