Word shuts down unexpectedly

When closing a document, Word also closes. (Even when selecting the bottom 'x')

Thanks in advance!
 
I am a real novice, but have that problem when I activate "Windows in
Taskbar" under Tools/Opotions/View. However, if your glitch is like mine,
understand that when I deactivate "Windows in Taskbar", which solves the
"closing problem" all of my open Wrod documents are stacjked up and not
visible on the Taskbar. Sure seems like somehting is wrong here.
 
I have found that this issue can be helped/resolved by turning off the MS
Word editor in MS Outlook!!
