Word seem to hang or not responding for a while

After clicking formatting or print preview Word seem to frozen or not
responding for a while then working fine. This is frustrating. Using in a
newly installed computer and applications.

Can anybody please help?

Usually this indicates a problem with the printer driver. Do you have a
printer driver installed locally and selected as the default? The printer
doesn't have to be physically attached to your computer, but Word needs a
driver to refer to for formatting issues. If you do have a default printer
selected, perhaps deleting and reinstalling it will help.
