Word Processor

I recently purchased a new Dell Lap Top Latitude D600 and
it came installed with Windows XP Professional SP 1 and I
was wondering if it has a word processor other than Word
Pad maybe a software like Microsoft Office or do i have
to purchase that seperatly? Thank You

MS Office is a separate program not included with XP.

You probably have Works or Word on your system. Have a friend check
your All Programs list, so you'll know which programs you've purchased.

Such Applications have to be purchased separately. Makers will
sometimes bundle in a copy of Office, or more often of Works - but it is
not part of the operating system
