Am using Office 2010, all my text has turned to small red boxes, any ideas please.

Could you please attach a screenshot of the problem, as it may help us understand what has happened.

Is possible your 'font' has changed to one not recognised by Word.

Highlight all, CRTL+A, and via the dropdown font menu select one of the default Word fonts.
