whenever I click on the help icon (?) all I ever get is "there are no help
topics that match your request"
I can't seem to ever get to a topics menu or TOC for Help.
Not specific to Word but this is program I need it for the most.
Ran diagnostics and have searched internet with no help found.

When you launch the help, is there a toolbar at the top of the
upcoming window? If so, what happens if you click on the "Home" button
or "Show table of contents" button on that toolbar?

There is no toolbar - a Microsoft Word Office Viewer window opens with the
response "there are no help topics that match your request" and my only
option is to close the window; nothing else.

I'm not certain, but it sounds as if there is no help installed. On
top of my head I can think of two reasons why: there was an installer
error 33 (something with CLVIEW.EXE), or you made a custom
installation and selected something to be installed on first use.

The first reason was causing me problems a year ago. I finally fixed
it by uninstalling Office 2007 and then reinstalling it.
