Word is slow to open

Anyone have any suggestions on troubleshooting Word taking up to 1 minute to
open. We use it in a Terminal server environment. I have deleted and
recreated profiles, disabled anti-virus, etc. Even completly re-formatted and
re-installed on 1 terminal server to make sure we were in as clean an
environment as possible. It happens to a majority of our users, but not all,
which makes me think it is a user setting.

Additionally, trying to click on a document, will begin to launch word, but
only gets to a gray screen. The document does not open. We need to go to
File-Open and open the document again, then the document opens.
