I have a huge document (170 pages) and I have a table of contents in the
beginning. I wanted to connect the table of contents with the rest of the
document. So when you click on (for example) I. Intorduction - it will
directly take me to page 5 on the document. How do I do that?

I hope you have used styles for your headings, etc. With the cursor in the
word Introduction, click on the hyperlink button. On the left side of the
dialog box that follows, click on Place in this Document, then select the
heading you want to hyperlink to. Hope this helps.

By default TOC entries in Word 2000 and above are hyperlinked already. Page
numbers are hyperlinked in all versions of Word. See
