Word for XP

For some unknown reason when I load Word for XP it loads it twice cause a
real mess, locking up the my system. Each will not allow me to close, I
have to reboot which is a pain.. Any suggestions would be appreicated.
 
Have you tried to run the Detect and Repair option under
the Help menu? You'll need your Office CD.
