I am running XP Pro SP2 with all updates and Office 2007 SP1 in a Small
Business Server Domain.
This is the only computer that has this problem. All the files are located
on the SBS Server. If I go through a mapped drive and open up a folder then
a Word or Excel doc it takes about 30 seconds to open. If I put a shortcut
on my desktop to the file the same thing happens.
However if I open up Excel or Word, then click File | Open and browse to the
file on the server it opens right up!
I had Office 2003 a week ago and the same thing happened.
I also put in a new network card testing that possibility.
Any ideas on what might be causing this?
