Word - email mail merge attachments

I have worked out how to use mailmerge to send bulk email messages to my
contacts but I want to be able to attach a pdf file to the email. Does anyone
know how to do this?

Attach it like you would any other TXT, DOC, file. The recipient must have
Adobe Reader to open it.
