Word Documents

All of my Word documents have swithched over to Wordpad documents for no
reason that I am aware of. How can I switch them back to Word documents.
The icons have all changes and they are stored as Wordpad documents, instad
of Word.
 
I did what it said at the location you provided and it didn't work. Thank you.
