i am trying to automate word from access. i found some information on msdn
but i could not find anything about style. my application is developed for
restaurants, and i would like to enable the user to create a template for
their menus, then export the selected menu to word, using the template for
style. would it be easier to build the report in access first, then export
it, or is there a way to skip this extra overhead?

I suspect the easiest thing would be to do it all in Word.

If you collect the information in Access you could use an Access report
or output (publish) it to Word. You can make much better looking results
using Word directly or from Access.
