word document not opening

I get a message that says my document is not available.
It has something to do with a global template. Never seen this before. How
can I get my doc open?
 
If you use Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the Office Plugin
that comes with it (but do not disable Norton AutoProtect). See

I have the same problem. However, I attempted to upgrade my Norton and I had
to delete the old version. now I have no Norton and nothing in word, excel or
powerpoint open? Suggestions!
