word doc in word how delete title

when u have a word doc in word how delete title .i can get rid of the doc but
cant get the file name out of word

If you are referring to the listing of Most Recently Used files (MRU list)
at the bottom of the File menu, press Ctrl+Alt+Hyphen and click on the file
you want to remove.
