Word Cursor Problems

I have a problem with Word 2003. The cursor does not work in the document.
Meaning you can't click in a document and move the cursor. It does not
matter if you are using a new document or opening a previous document. If
you start word in safe mode the cursor will work. I have made a new user
profile in XP and then Word will work until you close word and reopen it and
then it will not work again. Uninstalling and reinstalling also does not
work. I suspect that this is some sort of add-in from another program but
I'm at a loss as to how to troubleshoot this. I've also deleted everything
out of the word startup folder and replaced normal.dot.

Please help.

thanks Keith

Most likely a COM Add-in, set up for the entire machine (rather than
specifically for a user). See if the information in this article helps you
track it down
