Word compare is not picking footnote changes - bug

Hi,

Not sure if this is a bug or feature of Word Compare.

In many of our documents word compare is not capable to pick all the changes
made in Footnote area.

I do not find any option to attach the files in this fourum.

Please suggest if anyone is facing the similar issue and what can be the
workaround.

Which specific changes isn't being picked up? Which version of Word are you
using?
