Word closes in 2 seconds when I try to modify any document. Help!

Hi, my name is Cecilia.
Yesterday I installed MS Project and Acrobat Writer in my PC and then I was
not able to open or modify any document in Word 2003. What can I do?
Word keeps open, if I do not try to open or modify any document. Can I do
something in the options menu? Please, help me...
 
can you "clean boot" Word, that is, run it with /a switch?
Winword.exe /a
Note, that this is not for everyday using of Word.
