Word canvas

The drawing canvas in Word (XP) drives me crazy but I
can't find where to "hide" it. Please help!

Are you referring to the Drawing Toolbar? If so, Word, Tools, Toolbars and
uncheck "Drawing".

If not, try microsoft.public.word.newusers
