Word attachment changes font

I am not sure if this is for the Word group or Outlook group but I am going
to start with Outlook. I have an email attachment in Word that when I open
it, it uses Times New Roman font and when someone else opens it, it uses
Courier font. Is there a way to default this to only Times New Roman?
Unfortunately, when it comes up in Courier, some of the text is cut off, etc.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Outlook only carries the attachment. It is not responsible for which and how
applications open it. Try a Word newsgroup instead.
